Q: Setting joystick di PCSX2 gimana ya gan?
A: Buka PCSX2, klik menu Config>Controllers(PAD)>Plugin Settings. Konfigurasi joystick 1 di menu Pad 1, konfigurasi joystick 2 di menu Pad 2

Q: Ane kok gak bisa save game di PCSX2 ya gan?
A: Format dulu memorycard bawaan PCSX2, caranya lihat di video ini.

Q: Ane maen game PS2 di PCSX2 kok lemot yah?
A: Hal tersebut biasa kok gan, terutama pada PC/laptop kelas menengah kebawah, untuk mengatasinya perlu konfigurasi manual yang terdapat di menu Config>Emulation Settings dan pastikan Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) sudah terinstall di PC anda.

1. Tutorial Full Screen ePSXe lihat di sini

2. Menampilkan layar loading SONY:

• Buka folder emulator ePSXe
• Klik kanan pada ePSXe.exe > Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
• Buka desktop, pada shortcut ePSXe klik kanan > Properties
• Tambahkan kata "-slowboot" pada field Target

•  Klik OK

3. Mengunci framerate digunakan apabila game yang dimainkan berjalan terlalu cepat atau terlalu lambat konfigurasinya:

• Buka ePSXe
• Klik menu Config > Video > Configure

• Centang "Use FPS limit" (1)
• Klik "FPS limit (10-200)" (2)
• Isi FPS dengan nilai 60 (3)

4. Konfigurasi Joystick:

• Buka ePSXe
• Klik menu Config > Game Pad > Port 1 > Pad 1 (1)
• Pilih type controller (2)
• Konfigurasi joystick sesuai dengan tombol masing-masing (3)
• Set rumble level (4) jika dibutuhkan

•  Klik OK
• Catatan: ubah tipe joystick jika joystick anda tidak berfungsi

5. Special Game Fixes, game-game tertentu membutuhkan konfigurasi tertentu untuk dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Langkah-langkahnya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Buka ePSXe
• Klik  menu Config > Video > Configure
• Centang Special game fixes (1)
• Klik kotak options (2)
• Pilih konfigurasi yang akan dipakai (3)

• Jika monitor anda mengutamakan layar 4:3 (bukan widescreen) biasanya monitor-monitor jaman dulu maka pilih fullscreen mode (1). 
• Jika monitor anda mengutamakan widescreen, fullscreen akan melebarkan tampilan, mendistorsi secara horizontal, maka pilih window mode (1). Masukkan resolusi monitor anda (2), dan ukur jendela tampilah ePSXe sesuai yang anda inginkan (3). Nomor yang anda masukkan disini harus berada pada format 4:3, ukuran yang baik untuk laptop sedang pada umumnya yaitu 960 x 720, sementara desktop dengan resolusi tinggi disarankan menggunakan ukuran 1280 x 960.

Ada banyak video untuk konfigurasi terbaik PCSX2 di dunia maya, tak ketinggalan ane juga buat beberapa tutorial konfigurasi emulator PS2 yang terkenal ini. Anda bisa lihat di batercusv's channel.

Namun video-video yang ada tidak dapat kita jadikan patokan untuk memainkan game-game PS2 dengan lancar, untuk spesifikasi komputer yang tinggi cukup menggunakan preset option agar game dapat berjalan dengan lancar, sedangkan untuk spesifikasi komputer menengah ke bawah, jika preset option tidak juga dapat membuat game yang dimainkan berjalan lancar maka kita harus konfigurasi emulator PCSX2 secara manual. Sebagai referensi tambahan berikut ada video tutorial konfigurasi resmi dari tim PCSX2
